Last gig of the Saint Ishmael tour tomorrow. by Jack Tasker

We’re sad to see the end of the Saint Ishmael tour - it’s been a blast that’s only gotten better from show to show. As a band we’ve changed during the three months we’ve been on and off the road, literally in terms of members coming and going, but also in terms of our music and playing style. It’s been great and we can’t wait to do it all again later in the year.

To wrap the tour up in style we’ll be finishing with a gig at The Glebe in Stoke for the well known Choose Days at The Glebe gig series. We’ve got support from Nick Sharratt at 21:00 and then we’ll go on about a half hour after that. It’s free so you have NO excuse to get down there, ready to celebrate with us.

There’s a Facebook event with gig details.

See you there.

We’re thrilled to announce Mollie Coddled is going to be our support for our York show at the end of the month.

Hailing from the North, Mollie Coddled is a solo lofi/ dream pop guitarist and singer from York. Being heavily influenced by the bedroom pop scene, Mollie records and produces all of her songs in her bedroom, making her music feel more intimate.

To get a ticket, please head to our store. See you March 30.

Next stops: Birmingham, Sheffield and York by Jack Tasker

The Saint Ishmael tour is going swimmingly. We’ve played four gigs so far and they’ve all been belters. We’re grateful to everyone who’s come out and watched a show, bought a record or had a boogie. Those who’ve done all three are true dukes.

In the coming weeks we’ve got Birmingham [TICKETS] Fri March 8, Sheffield [FACEBOOK EVENT] Friday March 29 and York [TICKETS] Saturday March 30. You can see the April and May dates of the tour on our gigs page.

See you on the road,

Ishmael's Thigh Gap by Jack Tasker

Screen Shot 2019-02-04 at 14.55.56.png

We’ve been working on a new music video for the latest slice of Saint Ishmael goodness. We present to you - Thigh Gap.

The song is poppy and the video’s trippy. This is an ‘in house’ video, pulled together by Jack and recorded by Tom Downes, Sophie Tasker and Jack. We hope you like it?

The single can be purchased from Bandcamp and streamed on all the usual services (here’s Spotify and Apple Music).

Enjoy.

We've got ourselves a brass band by Jack Tasker

Brass Band.JPG

Last weekend we were joined at Stirchley Baths by the City of Birmingham Brass Band to help in the recording of our third album.

The track ‘Until You Can’t Run Anymore’ is probably going to be the album closer and is definitely going to make you cry your eyes out. It’s an epic of Elbow proportions.

We’ll be announcing the release date for the album soon and then a tour to boot.

Big love
